This is an initial post to let you know that I am in fact a real person, with real things to say, and real things to write about.

I intend, at least at first, to update 2-3 times a week, beginning 9/1/2018. I hope by then to have a couple of snippets ready to post from my current work-in-progress, Knights of the Lion of Judah (a working title.)

I don’t yet know what, exactly, I will be writing about other than my writing. I will explore that topic as I try and build up a small buffer of pre-written posts, and you will see the fruits of that labor in September.

A little bit about me: I am a Catholic father of three, a husband, a writer, and I work two wildly different part-time jobs. I am also diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Panic Disorder, and a few other odds and ends, so while I will allow (within limits) a certain amount of arguing, I will not usually be joining in the fray. I also believe that a limited amount of censorship promotes creativity, as boundless ‘freedom’ is a form of stifling slavery, so I reserve the right to eliminate speech that is detrimental to the whole; this being said, I will not sockpuppet or put words in the mouths of those who comment, so any discussion I allow is honest insofar as I can encourage it to be so.
