Baby Mirabelle, my third daughter, is going to be induced this morning. As soon as the nurses remember we are here in our room.
Baby Mirabelle has been kicking her mother’s butt for a couple of months now, far more vigorously than either of our older daughters, but her amniotic fluid seems to be uncomfortably low. Because of this the midwife recommends we proceed with the induction, in spite of misgivings and bad memories aplenty.
We are both excited to meet baby Mirabelle (Mira for short), and after the trials of this pregnancy we are ready to be done with this stage. Prayers that my wife can avoid a second c-section would be appreciated.
